Reservations, Deposit, Refund, Cancellation

Reservation requests can be submitted online utilizing the secure Eviivo booking engine. Click on the “Check Availability” link to start the reservation process. You can also call us at (320)834-7250 or use the contact form to email us.

Yes, a deposit is required.  The full cost(including taxes & fees) of the first night is required to confirm and guarantee the reservation.

EXCEPTION: For designated holidays and special event weekends, the cost of the entire stay will be charged at the time of the reservation.

The deposit is payable by credit(debit) card at the time of reservation request. If you make the reservation request online, an invoice will be sent for the deposit and must be paid within 48 hours to guarantee the reservation. The invoice may be paid online or by phone.  At our discretion, the reservation may be cancelled due to non-payment.

For 2019, the designated holidays and special event weekends are: 4th of July(weekends before and after), Labor Day weekend, August 31-September 2, and CCW Grape Stomp, September 13-15.

We accept all major credit and debit cards and cash. We also accept gift certificates from the MN Bed & Breakfast Association. Additionally we can send you an invoice for payment before your arrival. We do NOT accept checks of any type. 

Our cancellation & deposit refund policy is:

  1. More than eight(8) weeks prior to check-in date the deposit will be refunded less $50 service fee
  2. Less than eight(8) weeks prior to check-in date the entire deposit is forfeited*.
  3. Less than 24 hours prior to check-in date/time(4:00 Central Time(US)) the entire cost of the stay will be charged*.

Exception:  If the room is re-booked by another party for the same period, you will not be billed for the entire cost of the stay and the deposit will be refunded as a lodging credit (Valid for 12 months from date of issuance) for future use in the amount of the deposit less the $50 service fee

Yes and no! Temporarily, due to our revised policies regarding occupancy (only two-unrelated households) and the 72-hour quarantine period after  rooms have been  occupied,  a two(2) night stay is required for check-ins on Friday and Saturday nights*. One night stays are available for check-ins Sunday through Thursday.

Also, we may require a minimum of a two-night stay during specified holiday periods.

*Based on guest room availability 48 hours prior to a specific weekend, this requirement may be waived. Please call for details, 320-834-7250 

Check-In Time: 4:00 -6:00 pm Early or late check-in requests are available with prior notification.

Check-Out: 11:00 am. 

Accommodations

Yes, in consideration of all are guests, the entire facility and grounds are non-smoking, including all tobacco products and electronic devices(vaping). Up to a $500 service fee may be assessed for costs associated with non-compliance to this policy

We welcome persons 16 years or older. The facility & available amenities and the desired ambiance is not suitable for infants and young children.

Each room has one queen-size bed. Maximum room occupancy is two.
Yes, Each guest room has a private bathroom with a large walk-in shower. 

Yes and no! The facility is mobility-restricted friendly. The main level with access to two guest rooms, the dining area, the Great room, the porches and decks is virtually barrier-free with a ramp from the unloading area to the entrance, large doorways, low thresholds and wide hallways. However, we are NOT fully ADA-compliant.

No. For the comfort and safety of other guests and staff, guests’ pets are not allowed on the premises.

Amenities
Yes, a full plated breakfast is included in the room rate. Each breakfast includes an entree’, breakfast meat, fresh seasonal fruit and a breakfast bread(depending on the entree’) Breakfast is served at 8:30 am. 

Yes and no. With prior notice, we can make minor adjustments to ingredients, preparation and selection to our breakfast menu items. However, please note, we are not  trained to fulfill highly specialized and restrictive dietary requirements. Also note the kitchen facility, the prep and cooking utensils. etc cannot be guaranteed to be allergen-free. Please feel free to call us and discussion your dietary requirements

We are located 7 miles northwest of Alexandria, directly down County Rd. 82 in Garfield, MN.

No, the kitchen is not available for guest use. Our food service license from the county does not allow guests to the use of the kitchen. There is a refrigerator available to the guests for items that require refrigeration.

Yes, Wi-Fi and free high-speed Internet is available throughout the entire facility

There is over a mile of maintained  hiking/snowshoeing trails through the prairie woodland.  There is a large fire ring area for an evening campfire.  

From the end of the driveway, the Central Lakes Trail is less than 1/4 mile

Lodging Availability Update

Due to the sharp increase in the regional and national positivity rate of COVID19 testing, we have been forced to go into a temporary “Pandemic Hibernation”.  This extreme measure was necessary to ensure the safety of the staff, our guests and our community.
During the hibernation period, lodging will NOT be available. Reservations for dates after the expiration date will be provisional and subject to cancellation based on the status of the pandemic.
